Basic information of helical reamer
One of the classifications of conveying equipment is called a reamer (also known as a screw conveyor). Its overall structure and internal structure are composed of head section, middle section, tail section and driving part. The screw conveyor has the advantages of simple structure, small footprint, easy sealing of equipment, convenient multi-point loading and multi-point unloading, and relatively simple management and operation. It is often used for conveying various powdery and granular materials, such as raw meal, pulverized coal, cement and slag, in a horizontal or inclined direction less than 20 degrees. The disadvantage of the screw conveyor is that the running resistance is large, the power consumption is larger than that of other conveyors, and the parts wear faster and the maintenance is large. It is not suitable for conveying materials that are viscous and easy to agglomerate, granular, and grinded. The temperature of the conveyed materials should be lower than 200 degrees. It is often used in occasions with small and medium conveying volume and conveying distance less than 50m.
